About the Author
In a career spanning more than 20 years, Jeff Apter has written 15 commercially and critically well-received books, including, most recently, biographies of ‘Shirley’ Strachan from Skyhooks and Dragon‘s Marc Hunter.

He also co-wrote the recent Kasey Chambers memoir, called A Little Bird Told Me, and worked with Mark Evans of AC/DC on his bestseller, Dirty Deeds. In 2005, Jeff worked with test cricketer turned commentator Michael Slater on his book, Slats.

His other books include studies of Jeff Buckley (which has been adapted for a feature film), the Finn brothers and Keith Urban. Jeff was ghostwriter on a project called In Harm’s Way, the story of a former Australian soldier and his attempts to emancipate two children in Lebanon.

His biography of Johnny O’Keefe is out through Hachette Australia. His latest book is called Up From Down Under: How Australian Music Changed the World.

Jeff lives on the NSW south coast with his wife and two children.

Not what I expected.....

I have to admit that I am fairly disappointed in this book. I was expecting to read more about Dan, Chris and Ben's side projects, and their lives outside of Silverchair and how that played a roll in them getting back together and releasing Young Modern, but all Jeff Apter did was rewrite his first book, Tomorrow Never Knows, then throw in a few chapters about Young Modern, and the guys lives after Diorama. I was sadly disappointed! If you have never read Tomorrow Never Knows (which I found to be a much better book, quality is much better, as are the photos in the book)I would recommend this book for the read since it just repeats the first book with the newer content thrown in at the end. If you are looking for a nice collector book,then go with the first book, Tomorrow Never Knows.

Supplemental Textbook

Purchased this for the CCS exam as my course did not cover anything of the health records nature. It's a relatively thick book, thicker than I was led to believe by co-instructor. 4 week crash course so wish me luck! Book seems pretty straight-forward.

Health Records book from AHIMA equals trusted material

I bought this for the Health Records class at the University of Cincinnati, it was the required textbook. It is written by the HIM leader AHIMA, so you can trust the information inside the text. The layout of the material is easy to follow and even though it is a thick book (744 pages) it isn't cumbersome to study with. The size of the print inside is large enough so you don't have to squint your eyes, not like some textbooks I have encountered. I plan on keeping it to study for the RHIT exam and as a source for my future classes.

About the Author
Carroll L. Shry, Jr., is presently an instructor at the Frederick County Public Schools Career and Technology Center in the Principles of Landscaping and Nursery Management program in Maryland. His credentials include a BS degree in Agricultural Education/Horticulture from the University of Maryland and an MS in Agricultural Education/Horticulture from West Virginia University. Mr. Shry is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Horticultural Society, the American Nurserymen's Association and the National FFA Alumni Association. He is past President of NAAE (NVATA), a Certified Professional Horticulturist and owns and operates his own landscape business.

H. Edward Reiley was involved in agriculture as a member of the American Rhododendron Society for which he won a Gold Medal and served as president and in agricultural education as a former Director of Vocational Education for the Frederick County Board of Education. He retired in 1981. He was a member of various professional organizations including the FFA Alumni Association in which he was a lifetime member. Mr. Reiley was named Vocational Educator of the year in Maryland for 1978 and received the Honorary American Farmer degree in 1979. Mr Reiley taught agriculture in secondary school and continuing education classes before working in a supervisory capacity. Up until the time of his death on March 16, 2008 Mr. Reiley bred new varieties of rhododendrons and azalea hybrids as well as managed a nursery.

This comprehensive book provides one of the most complete overviews of the aquatic beetles in the family Dytiscidae, also known as predaceous diving beetles. Dytiscids constitute one of the largest families of freshwater insects with approximately 4,200 named species that come in a variety of sizes, colors, and habitat affinities. Although dytiscid adults and larvae are ubiquitous throughout a variety of aquatic habitats, and are important predators on other aquatic invertebrates and vertebrates, there are no compilations that have focused on summarizing the knowledge on aspects of their ecology, systematics, and biology. Chapters in this book summarize hitherto scattered topics, including their anatomy and habitats, chemical and community ecology, phylogenies and larval morphology including chaetotaxy, sexual systems, predation, dispersal, conservation, and cultural and historical aspects. About the Author
Although his primary research focus involves medically important container mosquitoes, he is broadly a community ecologist who has a strong, broad background in invertebrates and aquatic habitats. He has focused most of his research efforts on mosquitoes, in part because this group provides an excellent model system to explore topics across many levels of ecological organization, from individuals, to population, to communities. His specific interests lie in examining how individual species traits, such as feeding behavior, habitat selection, dispersal and oviposition decisions affect species interactions and in linking how the outcomes of these interactions affect patterns of species diversity and invasion success. This work has important implications for public health, as findings of his work can offer insights into the factors that control the distributions of medically important mosquitoes.
